John is based in our Cameron Park office. With more than 40 years of experience in the fields of financial planning and insurance, John knows what’s most important when it comes to planning finances and when it comes to planning life.
John’s education includes majoring in Business Administration while attending San Jose State University. John received the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ certification in 1989 and is a CA licensed insurance agent. He has guest-lectured and instructed for many industry educational courses, including teaching courses in Financial Planning at UC Davis extension. He has also been a columnist and radio talk show host, concentrating in areas of estate, investment, business and personal financial planning.
John enjoys his community and the thrill of a good competition. He is an elected member of the El Dorado County Board of Education, and a popular coach of the junior varsity girls’ softball team at Ponderosa High School.
John and his wife Lori reside in Pleasant Valley where they raised their two daughters Jennifer and Christine.
Tina is based in our Folsom office. She came to a career as a Financial Planner after earning both her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Master of Public Administration from the University of Utah, and working 10 years as a Program Manager in the public sector. After many years as a stay-at-home mom, she completed her Personal Financial Planning Certification through UC Davis and has worked as a Financial Planner since 2004. In addition to the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ certification and FINRA Securities licenses, Tina is a CA and UT licensed insurance agent.
Tina is committed to the fee based financial planning model and has specialized experience with high-net worth families and the complex financial, legal and personal issues they face. She has been actively involved in the community through school volunteer positions, the Boy Scouts and the Financial Planning Association. She taught “Financial Planning Basics for Women” workshops in the community, and also holds leadership positions with several private charities. She and her husband have two adult sons.
Judy is based in our Folsom office. A California native, she earned her Bachelor's degree in Managerial Economics from UC Davis and holds a Master in Business Administration from San Francisco State University. Judy is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® professional, and a CA licensed insurance agent. She joined Lane Florence in 2019 after working for several years as a financial advisor in the Bay Area.
Judy is a passionate advocate of family financial planning. Having experienced the role of family caretaker for many years she believes in the importance of planning for the unplanned. She understands the emotional and physical impacts life events such as career changes, death, divorce, and caretaking can have on an individual. She is committed to helping families move forward and create a new chapter in life.
Jack joined Lane Florence in 2016 after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from UC Berkeley and working at a non-profit firm promoting long-term care initiatives. He has been responsible for operations and client service for four years while earning the necessary FINRA licenses and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification to move forward as a Financial Planner. He sees opportunities in technology and introducing his generation to the benefits of financial planning. He enjoys working with clients in both the Folsom and Cameron Park offices. Jack is optimistic that 2021 will allow for more sporting events and traveling after several years of studying and taking tests.
