John is based in our Cameron Park office. With more than 35 years of experience in the fields of financial planning and insurance, John knows what’s most important when it comes to planning finances and when it comes to planning life.
John’s education includes majoring in Business Administration while attending San Jose State University. John received the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ certification in 1989 from the College for Financial Planning. John has guest-lectured and instructed for many industry educational courses, including instruction at the UC Davis extension in the Personal Financial Planning Department. He has also been a columnist and radio talk show host, concentrating in areas of estate, investment, business and personal financial planning.
Enjoying his community and the thrill for good competition, you’ll find John sitting on the board of a local school district, or on the softball field coaching the Ponderosa High School team. He currently serves on the El Dorado County Board of Education.
John and his wife Lori reside in Pleasant Valley where they raised their two daughters Jennifer and Christine.
Tina is based in our Folsom office. Tina brings a fresh perspective to her position as Financial Planner. She earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Master of Public Administration from the University of Utah, and worked for 10 years as a Program Manager in the public sector. She completed her Personal Financial Planning Certification through UC Davis, and has worked as a Financial Planner since 2004. In addition to the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ certification and FINRA Securities licenses, Tina is a CA and UT licensed insurance agent.
Tina is committed to the fee-based financial planning model. Her goal is to provide professional, objective financial planning services to clients from all walks of life. She most enjoys identifying solutions and motivating clients to achieve their financial goals.
Tina has been actively involved in the community through school volunteer positions, the Boy Scouts and the Financial Planning Association. She and her husband have two adult children.
Judy is based in our Folsom office. A California native, she earned her Bachelor's degree in Managerial Economics from UC Davis. She moved to the Bay Area and obtained a Master's in Business Administration from San Francisco State University. Judy is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®.
Judy is a passionate advocate of family financial planning. Having experienced the role of family caretaker for many years she believes in the importance of planning for the unplanned. Judy understands the emotional and physical impacts a caretaker may experience during difficult times and is committed to helping individuals move forward and plan a new future.
She returned to the Sacramento area in 2019 with the goal of purchasing a multi-generational family compound. As she states, "I want to live near my mother, not with my mother." Judy is active in her community and looks forward to re-exploring the area with her dog, Ida Ho.
Jack manages office operations and client services in both our Folsom and Cameron Park offices. A Sacramento native, Jack attended Jesuit High School in Carmichael and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, where he rowed crew competitively. Jack joined Lane Florence in 2016 and is committed to a career in financial planning. He has acquired the appropriate FINRA licenses and is enrolled in the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional program. Jack previously worked with a non-profit lobbying firm engaged in promoting long-term care initiatives to the California State Legislature. He enjoys all of his responsibilities at Lane Florence, especially meeting with clients to help achieve their goals.
